Do people see my personal information?

The only private information we make publicly visible on NRFA.org is your first name (if you use your real name). Most profile information is optional so you choose what to share and make public. If you are a birthmother your information is private and only seen by waiting families you contact.

How do I update my profile information?

Creating your profile is one of the most important things you can do to stand out on NRFA.org. Every message you send out is tied directly back to your profile. As you are browsing through members on NRFA.org, those families are also browsing through profiles. A strong profile includes detailed information that can help families and individuals understand your desires and background that make you unique among applicants. Do you offer home studies and background checks?

Yes. At any time you can choose one of our optional services to help you with your adoption journey.

How long are your contracts?

NRFA plans are month-to-month or yearly. We make it simple to start — and stop — your service at any time.

Are discounts available?

Yes, we offer discounts on up-front long-term commitments for 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions.

How do I sign up?

You start by signing up and creating a profile. For birth parents the service is free. For others we don't collect your credit card until you've determined your profile is complete and you want it to appear in our search results.

How do I cancel service?

Canceling NRFA is an easy and no-questions-asked process. It's done online right from your site manager.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, at any time, in your account manager. When upgrading your account plan, you will receive a pro-rated charge, depending on the cost of your new plan.
